Local app data
NetlumaVPN stores profile metadata, selected preferences, connection display state, and local diagnostics on your device or in app-group storage so the app, widget, and tunnel extension can work.
VPN profiles and secrets
Sensitive VPN profile values are stored in protected device storage where available. You are responsible for importing profiles only from providers you trust.
App Store purchases
Premium purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. NetlumaVPN receives only the entitlement status needed to unlock app features.
Diagnostics / crash analytics
The app may use Firebase services for network failure, crash, and purchase lifecycle diagnostics. These events should not include VPN credentials, full URLs, or generated configs.
IP / session lookup
If you open session information features, NetlumaVPN may request public IP and approximate network metadata from an IP information service such as ipapi.co.
DNS providers
If you choose an encrypted DNS resolver or another DNS option, DNS providers may process query data according to their own policies.
Third-party services
VPN providers, DNS resolvers, Apple, and session information services are independent services with their own terms and privacy practices.
User controls
You can delete imported profiles, change DNS and tunnel settings, disconnect the VPN, manage subscriptions in Apple settings, remove VPN configurations, or uninstall the app.
Contact / support
For privacy questions or requests, use the official support page. Because most data is local to your device, remote deletion may not be possible for local app data.
